Why Audiomaxx

Anyone can stick film on a car. We engineer the install.

01

Precut, not bulk-cut

Every kit is plotted from XPEL DAP to your exact year, make, and trim. Film stops at the factory edge — no blades near your paint.

02

Self-healing film

XPEL Ultimate Plus erases swirls and light scratches with heat. We’ll show it heal, live, before you leave.

03

Climate-controlled bay

Installed at 65–80°F in a dust-controlled, positive-pressure bay. Contamination is the enemy of a clean install — we engineer it out.

Choose Your Finish

Same impact protection. Three different looks — all XPEL, all self-healing, all backed by the 10-year warranty.

Gloss

XPEL Ultimate Plus

The standard. 8-mil self-healing film that keeps your factory gloss looking showroom-fresh while it eats rock chips and swirl marks.

  • Self-heals scratches with heat
  • Invisible — keeps original color
  • 10-year warranty

Satin / Matte

XPEL Stealth

Turn any glossy paint into a factory-matte look — or protect a matte finish without losing it. Same self-healing protection, frosted finish.

  • Converts gloss paint to satin
  • Protects factory matte finishes
  • 10-year warranty

Hydrophobic Gloss

XPEL Ultimate Fusion

PPF with a built-in ceramic top coat. Water beads and slides off, dirt won’t stick, and washing takes minutes. The protection of film with the slickness of a coating.

  • Ceramic hydrophobic surface
  • Easiest to keep clean
  • 10-yr + 4-yr gloss/UV warranty

PROFESSIONAL CERAMIC COATING

Ceramic Coating

A liquid nano-ceramic layer that chemically bonds to your clear coat — adding gloss, slickness, and years of easier washing. Great on its own, and the perfect finishing step over PPF.

What ceramic coating actually does

  • Hydrophobic surface — water sheets off carrying dirt with it, so the car stays cleaner longer and dries spot-free.
  • Deeper gloss — the coating adds clarity and a wet-look shine on top of corrected paint.
  • Chemical & UV resistance — better defense against bird droppings, bug acids, road grime, and sun fade.
  • Easier maintenance — far less effort to wash, and a slicker surface that resists light marring.

Coating vs. PPF — they’re a team

Coating and film solve different problems. Film is a physical barrier that absorbs impacts — rock chips, scratches, road rash. Coating is a chemical barrier that handles contaminants and water and makes everything easier to clean. The best results use both.

  • Coating only — gloss + easy cleaning for daily drivers on a budget.
  • PPF on high-impact panels + coating everywhere else — our most-recommended combination.
  • Already have XPEL Ultimate Fusion? Its ceramic top coat is built in — no separate coating needed.

Every coating starts with proper prep — wash, decontamination, and paint correction as needed — so it bonds to clean, corrected paint, not over swirls.

ADD-ON COVERAGE · XPEL CERTIFIED

Windshield Protection

Add to any package — or book on its own.

XPEL Windshield PPF

Optical-Grade Sacrificial Film

A clear protective layer that stops chips, holds the glass together if struck, and gets replaced every 3–5 years — instead of your windshield.

$[—]

Starting · 3–4 hour install

“My insurance covers it” — actually, that’s the problem.

Most windshield replacements go through insurance. The catch: what insurance pays for usually isn’t what came on your car from the factory.

  • Aftermarket glass, not OEM. Insurance replacements typically use third-party glass. Optical clarity, thickness, fit, and acoustic dampening rarely match the factory windshield.
  • ADAS recalibration is hit-or-miss. Modern cars need lane-departure, automatic-braking, and adaptive-cruise cameras recalibrated to the new glass. Many replacement shops skip or rush this step.
  • Deductibles and rate impact. Even with “free” glass coverage, deductibles stack up — and multiple claims can affect renewals.
  • Days without your car. Replacement + calibration + curing time. The film stops the problem before it starts.
  • 99% UV rejection. Protects your dashboard, leather, and skin. Replacement glass doesn’t include this.

Color PPF — not a wrap.

Vinyl wraps changed how cars look. Color PPF changes how they look while still protecting the paint underneath. Different mission, different category.

  • Self-healing — minor scratches and swirls erase with heat. Wraps don’t do this.
  • 10-year warranty against yellowing, peeling, cracking. Most vinyl wraps run 2–3 years.
  • Paint protection underneath — same impact and chip resistance as XPEL Ultimate Plus.
  • Reversible — comes off cleanly with controlled heat. Factory paint underneath stays factory.

Sixteen colors. Three finishes.

Smooth, low-texture surfaces designed to look like factory paint — not vinyl. Gloss for showroom depth, satin for matte-without-the-flatness, and metallic for color-shift effects.

  • Gloss — paint-like depth, optically smooth
  • Satin — factory-matte appearance, no streak or texture
  • Metallic — flake-driven color depth that shifts with light

Full color swatch book available at your inspection. We’ll show each color on your vehicle’s panels under shop lighting before you commit.

Full Car Coverage Required

Color PPF is a Full Car install only.

Partial color coverage creates visible panel mismatches. To transform the appearance, every painted surface needs the same film. We’ll quote your specific vehicle at inspection.

Common Questions

If you’re considering PPF, ceramic coating, or ceramic tint, you’re probably wondering one of these.

How long does paint protection film last?+

XPEL Ultimate Plus is warrantied for 10 years against yellowing, cracking, bubbling, and delamination. In normal driving conditions the film typically performs well beyond the warranty window. Sun-exposed paint without PPF often shows oxidation by year 3.

What’s the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?+

PPF is a thick, physical film that absorbs impacts — rock chips, scratches, and road rash. Ceramic coating is a thin liquid layer that bonds to the paint for gloss, UV/chemical resistance, and hydrophobic easy-cleaning, but it does not stop rock chips. They’re complementary: film for impact zones, coating for shine and maintenance everywhere else.

Do I need ceramic coating if I already have PPF?+

It depends on the film. XPEL Ultimate Fusion has a ceramic top coat built in — no additional coating needed. For XPEL Ultimate Plus (Gloss) and XPEL Stealth (Matte), adding a ceramic coating on top makes washing easier and adds chemical resistance. We’ll lay out both options at your inspection and won’t push a coating you don’t need.

Will PPF damage my paint when it’s removed?+

No. XPEL film is designed to remove cleanly from factory clear coats with controlled heat. The original paint underneath remains in the condition it was in when the film was installed — which is the whole point.

What window tint percentages are legal in New York?+

New York State requires 70% VLT or more on the front side windows and the windshield (the top six inches of the windshield may be tinted darker). Rear side and back windows have no VLT restriction on passenger vehicles. Audiomaxx installs to NY State legal limits by default unless you specifically request darker on the legally-unrestricted windows.

Can I wash my car after installation?+

For PPF: avoid washing for the first 48 hours while the adhesive cures, and skip abrasive automatic washes for 30 days. For ceramic coating: keep the car dry for the first 24–48 hours while it cures. For ceramic tint: don’t roll down newly tinted windows for 4 days, and skip glass cleaner for 7 days while the film bonds.

What’s the difference between dyed, hybrid, and ceramic tint?+

Dyed (XPEL PRIME CS): colored film — blocks UV, adds privacy, lowest price, limited heat rejection. Hybrid (XPEL PRIME HP): dyed plus metallized layers, much better heat rejection. Ceramic (XPEL PRIME XR Plus): nano-ceramic particles, maximum heat rejection (up to 96% infrared), signal-friendly, optically clear.

Can I get PPF, ceramic coating, and tint done together?+

Yes — and it’s the most efficient way to do it. We sequence the work correctly (film and correction first, coating to finish, tint on its own bond schedule) so each layer cures properly. Bundling also means one drop-off and one inspection. We’ll build a combined plan and timeline at your free inspection.
